Old fashion blues for the listeners to enjoy preformed as old-fashioned and miserable as possible.
Jarnror is an exiting combination of two slide guitarists, (that means they have iron tubes on their fingers, that’s why the name) stand-up bass, foot stomp. Jarnror started out as a duo but later on they met Hakan Jaremyr who plays contrabass, and he thought it sounded like a lot of fun and wanted to be a part of the band, and that was that.
Old fashion blues for the listeners to enjoy preformed as old-fashioned and miserable as possible. For example: contrabass with stroke, foot stomp, wining song and what ever manageable rakes you can develop.
If you like blues, you should listen to Jarnror, because this is as much blues as it can ever be!
The most challenging thing for Hakan is to play trashy, cause he’s usually performing in Sandvikens symphonyorchestra and their not half as tolerant. But in this band its easy, a trashy awesome beat.
Bets are made about how many strings Uffe will break during a gig. Even though he have learned to by better strings now a days, he often gets caught up in the moment and a couple of them will go anyway.
They play slide blues their own way, with some electric backup. Of course they also perform acoustic if it’s preferable. “Back to Basics”
